CD-Roms. These also come in two forms:
- Modular versions, with pauses between each movement of a musical work.
These can be played either on Pc or MAC, preferably 64 or more megs of RAM.
- Continuous versions, in which whole works continue from beginning to end, with only slight pauses between movements.
[Both versions are completely inter-active, giving the user control of fast-forward, rewind, image size, point of view, angle of view, zoom factors, structure heights, and virtually all aspects of the 3D, animated, color-coded imagery of ViMS, which is closely synchronized with the music. At present our repertoire includes Bach’s Art of Fugue, and Brandenburg Concerti; Beethoven's 3rd, 5th and 9th Symphonies; Handel's Acis & Galatea, Alexander's Feast and Messiah; Haydn's Creation; Mozart's Eine kleine Nacht-Musik [K. 525], Piano Concerto No. 23 [K.488], Authentic Requiem [K.626] and Symphony No. 40 in g-minor [K.550]; Wagner's Tristan & Isolde; Purcell's Fantasias, Trio Sonatas and Dido & Aeneas.
Other works will be added from time to time, and we will appreciate suggestions from users on items to be added in the future.
